On 15 February 2024 Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi JSC traded 100 lots — 640,000 tonnes — of semi-soft coking coal on the Mongolian Stock Exchange. Eight buyers took part; bidding opened at US$89.1 per tonne and closed at US$117.6.
With this, Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi has sold 3.2 million tonnes of coal worth US$419.6 million on the exchange in 2024.
