According to export statistics from the General Customs Administration, the physical volume of coal exports in the first half of the year reached 46.1 million tonnes, up 35.5 per cent on the same period last year and 4.2 times the level of the same period in 2022. Coal alone made up 57.9 per cent of total exports, with revenue reaching US$5.3 billion.
