Of the 572.2 tonnes registered for 105 deposits in Mongolia’s unified mineral resources register, 82 primary gold deposits holding 347.1 tonnes have valid licences.
Fourteen of these are being mined to some degree today, while 68 deposits holding 228.7 tonnes face no legal restriction yet have not entered the economy.
