In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the "MONGOLROSTSVETMET" plant, a collaborative event has been organized by the Embassy of the Russian Federation, the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Mongolia, the Russian Cathedral in Ulaanbaatar, and the "MONGOLROSTSVETMET" State-Owned Industry Department. The event aims to highlight the strategic partnership between Russia and Mongolia in the mining sector.

The academic meeting titled "50 years of Mongolrostsvetmet SOE: Past-Present-Future" is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at "РЦНК". Russian Ambassador A.N. Yevsikov will lead the Russian delegation, while B. Uyanga, the Deputy Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry of Mongolia, will lead the Mongolian delegation.

Representatives from prominent Russian mining companies and universities offering education in the field will participate in the roundtable meeting from the Russian side. On the Mongolian side, the delegation will include representatives from the "Mongolrostsvetmet" SOE led by General Director B. Munkhbat, the first President of Mongolia P. Ochirbat, experts from the Ministry of Economy and Development of Mongolia, as well as representatives from the "Erdenet" factory and "Erdenes Mongolia" LLC.

Additionally, an exhibition titled "MONGOLROSTSVETMET - 50 years" will be featured as part of this milestone event.
